Pizza is a staple of American cuisine—but how do Americans feel about dipping it in ranch dressing? Ongoing CivicScience data show that 15% of U.S. adults with an opinion love doing so, while 26% are a ‘maybe sometimes’ and 59% firmly say ‘no.’ Younger Americans are driving the trend: 23% of Gen Z adults (18-29) and 22% of Millennials (30-44) say they love the combo, outpacing those 45 and older by at least 14 percentage points.

In which American region are you most likely to find pizza-in-ranch fans? CivicScience data show you're most likely to come across them in the American South (16%) South (16%), West (16%), and Midwest (15%). Dining out priorities: Speaking of ordering out, those who live dipping pizza in ranch are also twice as likely as non-fans to say they value speed of the service when dining out. On the other hand, non-fans are 11 percentage points more likely to prefer diverse menu options.
